The Nitty Gritty
FAQs
Here’s a few questions I know you might have:
-
Late Policy Appointments that are 15 minutes late or more will be cancelled and subject to a no-show fee of 50% of the price of the service booked.
No-Show Policy In the event of a no-show a couple attempts to reach you will be made to make sure there are no extenuating emergencies. Past that the card on file you used to book will be charged 50% of the service booked.
Card Policy A card on file is required to hold your appointment. In the event of a “no-show” or last minute cancellation this is the card that will be run for the agreed upon fee. If your card is unlinked from the booking system at any time prior to your appointment it will become a cancellation and rescheduling will not be possible until a card is relinked.

Most people prebook a fill every 2-3 weeks to maintain the style and lash health.
Your lashes will naturally shed about 3-5 a day, and with that comes the extension that was carefully applies to the base of the hair and never the skin. In addition to natural shedding your lashes also grow a little everyday depending on what growth phase they are in, the style can shift and change due to this growth. We address all these elements at your fill appointment.
If you are looking for a full set for an event or special occasion with no intention of getting fills (totally ok to do BTW) realistically you’ll have remnants of the extensions 6-8 weeks later but only if proper aftercare is followed entire time.
Once you add mascara back into the mix it’s all downhill from there as mascara is one of the cardinal sins of lash extensions!

A “foreign” fill is when you have existing lash extensions from somewhere else and are looking for a fill at Routine Beauty. The answer is Yes! With a little caveat - filling on my own work is a daily part of my job and my process is smooth and easy, but because of the various techniques and misinformation about lash health sometimes I encounter issues with attachment, length and weights used by other artists.
For this reason I like to add 15-20 minutes to your service to get familiar with your existing set and how you like your lashes to look. From there I will share what I find and we can decide together how you’d like to proceed. As always my priority is first and foremost your lash and eye health.

Both lash lifts and extensions come with expectations, it’s good to understand what’s possible with your own lashes.
For lash lifts it is very rare to encounter a lash type that isn’t compatible. The treatment timing is always adjusted to best suit hair type, porosity, and natural existing curl. Practically everyone can benefit from a lash lift, even masculine folks!
Let’s talk extensions -
People with thin, or sparse lashes can often benefit the most from lash extensions! It’s also super important to avoid permanent damage so we want to make sure to never overweight the hair follicles with styles that are too long or thick. For this reason I like to keep my fine haired clients with a softer, lighter set to make sure you keep your lashes for life. We can only put extensions on what is existing as these are always attached to the hairs, never the skin.
Gaps in lash lines can be camouflaged with extensions under most condition but if you have a significant space we should assess what service type is best for you.
Aside from the physiological compatibility another aspect that heavily impacts the satisfaction with extensions is lifestyle. After reviewing aftercare you’ll see that extensions require a new step added to your daily Routine as well as avoiding some activities. Take some time to review the aftercare page and decide if this is a good fit for you personally.
Hot Yoga/Sauna lovers tend not to get the satisfaction of super long retention, as well as people who don’t thoroughly cleanse the lashes daily.

First I’ll say “anything is possible” but with confidence- very unlikely. My experience and methods aim to reduce instances of damage or “frying” your lashes. We discuss curl style and desired shape prior to treatment and review best aftercare practices to insure your results are lasting. The solutions used in treatment are the least invasive to the hair structure while still delivering beautiful results. You’ll often hear me say I begin with the most conservative process time and check in with the result before pushing them past their limit.

Yes & No, if I am the one who performs your lift I can apply extensions after 48 hours from that process. If your lashes are previously lifted from elsewhere I like to wait 2-4 weeks, this varies case by case. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with your details for a quick consultation.

Routine Beauty LLC treatments & services are time and skill based, and materials used cannot be returned. For this reason there are no refunds on services.
If you are unsatisfied with your results please reach out as soon as you start to feel that way. Timing is everything as in some cases issues can be remedied and results can be adjusted shortly after the initial service.
Open communication is deeply encouraged and I’m always eager to here feedback on how to make you the happiest possible.
